GREEN SHED Seminar and Meeting Facility 

 

Introduction

 

The GREEN SHED is a purpose built venue for seminars and meetings in the Heart of the Heretaunga Plains. The genuine rural location and outlook, easy parking and ample space for field demonstrations and practical workshops, make it the ideal venue for agricultural and horticultural extension and training

Seating 24 at tables, 40 or so theatre style, the 8 x 9 m Seminar Room is designed for minimum direct light intrusion. Highly flexible layout is easy with Titan tables. Put them in rows, a "U", separated, or none-at-all for Theatre Style.

The Seminar Room is connected through a servery to the kitchenette, making tea breaks a breeze. Open the doors to the wide deck and take in fresh air and the view for a break

Board Room

Seating 12 at tables, the Board Room is ideal for smaller meetings and training sessions. Tables can be separated for flexible seating arrangements. The Board Room has independent access to the kitchenette and other facilities

Catering

GREEN SHED users may provide their own refreshments, or order a range of food and refreshments to be provided on-site. Excellent local caterers will deliver

A kitchenette is available to hirers and their caterers - tea and coffee making facilities are provided. An outside barbeque adds another option for your event

Equipment

Standard seminar equipment includes tables, chairs and whiteboards.

Data projectors, screens, flip charts and other equipment can be hired on request. The facility has internet access if required

Accessibility

All buildings and facilities at the Centre are fully accessible with hard surfaces and ramping. However there is limited access in research and demonstration fields. Accessibility parking is central to all buildings
